Description
Guava Dessert Dulce de Guayaba
Also called Guava Jam, it is a thick jam made with real Guava fruit and sugar. Can be served as a standalone dessert but is most commonly used as a filling for cakes.
Ingredients (for 200 g of Dulce de Guayaba):
- Guava pulp (the main ingredient, which can be fresh or pureed guava)
- Sugar (for sweetness and to create the thick, syrupy texture)
- Lemon juice (optional, to balance sweetness and enhance flavor)
- Water (to help dissolve the sugar and create the proper consistency)
- Pectin or gelatin (optional, to help the paste set and firm up)
